Popular science guru Neil deGrasse Tyson has recently been accused of sexual misconduct. As always with ethics scandals, we are looking for a Jupiter-to-Pallas transit... Jupiter for publicity and Pallas for ethics, generally accompanied by a major outer-planet transit which represents a significant change in status. A Uranus-to-Jupiter or similar transit also seems to be a common feature of ethics scandals. Here we have transiting Uranus at 29 Aries (waxing after the upcoming station) opposite his Jupiter at 5 Scorpio. We've been exploring the possibility that transiting Pallas against a natal chart can correspond with events in which "the truth comes out" against a backdrop of obfuscation and/or false information. But we've seen that the involvement of Ceres in a Pallas transit may be an indicator of the "removal" of truth, or a deception. Yesterday, transiting Pallas at 10 Libra was conjunct Tyson's progressed Pallas at 10 Libra, his Sun at 11 Libra, and (barely) his natal Ceres at 2 Libra. The "truth" indicator, then, is very strong and the "lie" indicator is very weak. Given all of these data points, it might be reasonable to predict that Tyson's career may fall victim to the "Me Too" movement in the next month or so. December 2 2018 update: Neil deGrasse Tyson denies sexual misconduct claims -- transiting Pallas at 11 Libra us conjunct his Sun at 11 Libra, and the transiting Sun at 10 Sagittarius is sextile his Sun... and transiting Ceres is at the midpoint at 9 Scorpio. This configuration was more or less also in the sky a few days ago when the allegations first broke. Someone is lying, but it's not clear who. Write to me at "alan" + "@" + "zot.net".
